Updates

We as a congregation have assisted the Culver family this week and I know many of you also went by, e-mailed, Facebooked, carried food and provided prayers and encouragement.  Mitchell and Angie have a long road to restoring their lives and anything you can do to help them would be a blessing.

Sonny Todd returned home late Thursday evening and will see his primary care physician soon.  Continue to remember Sonny and Joyce.

Be sure to wish a Happy Birthday to Molly Robinson at worship tomorrow as she will be turning two Sunday.

Tomorrow's lesson will be on prayer taken from Jesus' Sermon on the Mount.  With so much tragedy around us, knowing that God listens and cares means so much.

Culver family and Sonny Todd

We were saddened to hear that Mitchell and Angie Culver lost their home in the storms earlier this week.  They are currently staying with Mitchell's parents who also sustained some damage.  Please keep Angie and her family in your prayers as they recover from this loss.

Sonny Todd was taken to Jackson-Madison County General Hospital with chest pains.  Doctors plan to run tests today to try to determine Sonny's problem.  Keep Sonny in your prayers.

Join us this week

Join us this week on Easter Sunday.  Classes for all ages will begin at 10:00 AM followed by worship at 11:00 AM.

At Lebanon, we want to provide an atmosphere of love and acceptance for everyone who comes our way.  Perhaps you have been out of church for awhile and are unsure of what to expect.  All we ask of those in attendance is honesty and a positive attitude.  We will worship in song, through looking at the Scriptures, in prayer for one another and in remembering the Lord's death in the Lord's Supper.  You are invited to join in each of these activities as you desire.  Feel free to ask questions during our classes, in between services or after we conclude our worship.  We want you to feel welcome worshipping with us.

Great day

We had a great day with the Lebanon church today.  It was so good to see Raphael and Hazel back with us after several months in Florida.  Their daughter and a cousin also blessed us with their presence.  Lexie and Memphis had fun learning in class (hopefully some of the older folks did as well).

I hope everyone has a blessed and safe week.  For those of you vacationing, be careful in your travels and we will see you soon.

Spring!

It has been great to finally be experiencing warmer weather as spring has arrived.  Many of our number have been traveling and some have been under-the-weather.  I hope everyone is safe and happy in this great time of year.

Don't forget ladies: The tea honoring Rachel Paschall this Sunday (April 10, 2011) at the home of Kurt and Lindsey Parham.

The Oliver-Paschall wedding is on May 21, 2011.

Also our meeting is only 2 months away (June 10-12, 2011) with Steven Hunter.  Make plans to attend and be spiritually fed.
