Clothing Drive for South Dakota

No comments:
Thanks to everyone who has brought items thus far for the South Dakota campaign.
We have a couple of more weeks to collect these items before we will turn them over to members of Liberty and Hatler's Chapel to be taken to Timmy and the church in Huron.
Clothing for infants through teenagers is needed particularly for winter weather.  Gloves, mittens, caps, scarves and other winter accessories are desired.  Let's contribute to this effort to help the Huron church in this outreach.

Monica Bell

No comments:
We have received word that Monica Bell was baptized into Christ last night.  Monica attended Lebanon with her family for many years as a young person.  We are so happy to hear this news and wish Monica, along with Buddy, Carol and Jordan, continued happiness.

Thanks

Thanks to everyone who was able to be at services today.  Both times were filled with joy.  Special thanks to the Honduras team for their presentation tonight.
Let us remember, as Randy said, to love in word but also in deed.

Be sure and let us know of any needs throughout the week.

Looking forward to a full day tomorrow!

Hope everyone will make an effort to be present at both services tomorrow for study, worship and fellowship.  Tomorrow morning the adult class will find Paul in Jerusalem in trouble and the sermon will be focused on the trial of Jesus.
Tomorrow night at 5:00 PM we will have the mission report from our Honduras ladies and other team members from the McKenzie church.
Looking forward to seeing each of you there!

Update

No comments:
I talked to Mr. Dan Crofford this evening and he reports he is doing some better.  He will be going back to the doctor for more tests on Thursday.  Please keep Mr. Dan and Mrs. Mildred in your prayers.

Tina Davis update

No comments:
Tina Davis has let us know that her test results have come back with normal findings.  Those of you present Sunday heard Philip relate how Tina had quite a scare last week due to losing vision in one of her eyes and later having a irregular EKG test.  Her sight quickly returned and from what I understand tests show that she has not suffered any permanent damage.  We are thankful for Tina's recovery and look forward to seeing her and Philip soon.

Please remember...

No comments:
Mr. Dan Crofford continues to battle an infection that has been bothering him for several weeks.
Also remember Ricky Dunlap and Tina Davis who are having tests and awaiting results.
Jencee West (great-niece of Bob and Besty Robinson) will be going back to the hospital this week for more tests.
Remember Todd (grandson of Joyce and Sonny Todd) who will be leaving for training at Parris Island with the Marines next weekend.
Donald Parham (Mike's brother) is undergoing cancer treatments at this time.
Remember our three ladies who are expecting as well.
Thanks for a great day at Lebanon!

Please remember Jonathan and Janie West in your prayers.  Their infant daughter, Jencee, has been battling severe digestive problems over the last few weeks.  Jonathan is Bob Robinson's nephew and is known to many in our congregation.

Wonderful day of worship!

No comments:
We just enjoyed a wonderful day of uplifting worship with the church at Lebanon.

Mr. Dan was not feeling well today and was not able to be with us.  Please remember he and Mrs. Mildred in your prayers.  Also, Dennis and Kay were not with us.  Remember Dennis's health challenges as well.

Jimmie Gail Parham had surgery a couple of weeks ago and is improving at home.  Why not drop one or more of these precious folks a card and let them know that they are missed.

Students return to the classroom tomorrow, so be sure and remember our young people as well as our members who will be teaching this year.

The ladies of the congregation will be hosting a baby tea for Rachel Culver in September.  Please be on the lookout for further news and the date of this event.

We are looking forward to a presentation about the recent Honduras mission effort.  More information to come!

All in all it was a great day to worship and be uplifted.

See you next Sunday and, as always, just call if you need anything!

New sister in Christ

No comments:
Rachel Oliver was baptized into Christ this evening at the Lebanon church building surrounded by friends and family.  Rachel noted that she had been in a gradual process of spiritual growth and felt like the time was right to publicly commit her life to Christ.  Please continue to pray for Rachel and her new life as a part of the Body of Christ.  Be sure to encourage Rachel and Zach as they make Lebanon their church home.  Rejoice that we have a new sister in Christ!
