We are thankful for everyone who contributed to our Honduras drive. Melinda and Betsy are looking forward to returning to Honduras with a group overseen by the McKenzie church. We look forward to receiving a full report of the mission effort after they return.
Many of you may have received an e-mail from Timmy Walker concerning another baptism in Huron, South Dakota. We are glad for this news.
Please continue to remember our sick and those who are hurting. Dennis and Kay Branson, Mildred Crofford, Jennifer Spann, Lee Guinn and others. Patsy Norrid, mother of Jack Norrid, fell and broke her hip on Friday. She has undergone surgery and is recovering.
Reminder that we will honor our recent graduates at our fellowship luncheon during our Gospel meeting on June 10, 2012. Alex Glisson is graduating from DHS this year. Please make us aware of any recent college graduates so that we may honor them on this day.
Our meeting will be June 8-10, 2012 with Jeremiah Tatum who now preaches for the Willow Ave. congregation in Cookeville, TN. Please make plans to be at every service (7:30 PM each evening) and invite a friend to join us.
Due to the Cemetery Walk on Sunday evening, our evening services this week will be at 4:00 PM. Please be sure to take advantage of the Iris Festival festivities to represent Christ and our church well.
